Billie Vest - DK/8 Ply Knitting Pattern

This is a printed paper knitting pattern.
A versatile vest with a relaxed neckline and deep armhole openings. Vest can be knitted with or without lace panel design. Option 1: Vertical lines with lace panels , Option 2: Vertical Lines only

Sizing-For best results use finished garment measurements below, aiming for a positive ease of 5-10cms depending on fit required

Ages – approximate: 3-6m, 6-12m, 1-2yr, 3-4yr, 5-6yr, 7-8yr, 9-10yr
Finished garment size: 48, 54, 59, 65, 70, 76, 81 cm
Back length from shoulder: 28, 31, 34, 38, 42, 45, 48 cm
Underarm length: 15.5, 17, 18.5, 20.5, 23.5, 25, 28 cm

Underarm to Shoulder length: 12.5, 14, 15.5, 17.5, 18.5, 20, 21cm

Make any adjustments to length as required at underarm

Yarn 8ply 50gm/100m 109y: 2, 3, 3, 4, 5, 5, 6 balls

Needles: 3.5mm, 3.75mm for neckband on first 3 sizes only (or all sizes if a tight knitter), & 4mm straight needles

Other Requirements: 6 x Stitch holders, 8 stitch markers

Tension: 22sts & 30 rows over 10cm on 4mm needles in stocking stitch
