Soft Silk is a soft and rustic bourette silk, also known as raw silk. A beautiful silk that ensures a great result. Because of the silks' qualities: warm in winter and cooling on a hot summer day, it is ideal for baby and children's garments.
Due to the high proportion of silk glue (whose smell dissipates relatively quickly), the bourette silk is said to have a natural healing power - it also has anti-inflammatory effects and soothes the skin.
Nature is important to us, therefore Soft Silk is dyed with AZO free and Oeko-Tex certified dyes, this means that the dye process is gentle to the environment.
Soft Silk is spun and dyed by a small mill in India.

Recommended Care: Cold hand wash, lay flat to dry
There may be excess dye in some of the colours. We therefore recommend to rinse the yarn in cold water before use; finish with a rinse of water with a little vinegar added to it. Always wash in cold water.
