The Makery's Leeston store will be closed for its Annual Holiday 1-15 February 2026. The website remains open - All Web orders place between 1-8 February will be dispatched on Monday 9 February. Our organic whole cloves have a warming, fruity taste and a spicy aroma. Add them whole to stocks, stews, curries and tagines, or use to flavor fruit compotes or mulled wine. This premium spice is produced by small-scale farmers who sell their products through Sri Lanka’s PODIE (People’s Organisation for Development Import and Export). The fair return they receive supports the social and economic development of their families and communities.
